Safety & Insurance
We recognise as a priority, our responsibility to ensure the safety and well being of all participants on the JAM Academies. There will be a designated trained person present at all our Rugby Academies with responsibility for first aid and dealing with any injuries which may occur. All participants are covered under our insurance policy.
Every coach participating at the JAM Academy will have completed an Enhanced CRB Disclosure. They will be fully aware of responsibilities relating to the general welfare of all young people who attend the course and will be confident and competent in managing all situations which may arise.
Due to the age range and mixed ability at the JAM Academies, it will be necessary to divide the participants by age, ability and size. This division aims to ensure that situations do not arise where children are mismatched physically and aims to lessen the risk of serious injury.

Rugby is a sport involving inherent risk of injury. Your child's participation on the JAM Camps may result in physical injury. Although JAM Group will take reasonable steps to avoid serious injuries being suffered by participants, the participants voluntarily assume the risk of injury. By agreeing for your child to participate on the camp, you confirm that you are the parent or guardian of the child/children registered and have custody and control of him/her/them and you confirm that:
1. you have read and accept the Booking Conditions.
2. you irrevocably consent to:
- your child's participation at the Rugby Camp;
- your child being photographed/filmed whilst at the Rugby Camps, and that such photographs or films can be used in future promotional material produced by JAM Group
- any data relating to your child collected by JAM Group in connection with the Rugby Camp being used for the purposes of the Rugby Courses and their promotion by JAM Group.
3. you consent to a trained first aid person caring for your child in the case of an accident.
4. you accept that there is an inherent risk of injury involved in the sport.
